Trusted Advisors, Home Watch & Stewardship | South Florida

A quiet, watchful steward
for the home you leave behind.

For seasonal, busy, and second-home owners across South Florida’s coastal communities, we observe, document, coordinate, and quietly maintain your residence so it is exactly as you left it, and ready when you return. When projects or vendor needs come up, we give you a trusted local team on your side to organize quotes, coordinate next steps, document visible progress, and keep you informed from afar.

What stewardship looks like

Four disciplines, one calm standard.

We are not a handyman service and not a property manager. We are a steward of your home: observing what is there, documenting what changes, coordinating approved vendors, and quietly handling everyday home-care details. When outside work is involved, we help give the homeowner a clear record and a steady set of eyes at the property.

01

Observation

Routine interior and exterior walk-throughs. Doors, windows, locks, water, climate, visible access concerns, pests, damage, and anything that should be documented before it becomes your problem from afar.

02

Documentation

Photo-stamped reports after every visit. A living record of your residence so decisions are based on facts, not guesswork.

03

Vendor coordination

Scheduling, meeting, and documenting approved licensed vendors so plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, and roofers can complete work while you are away, with access and visible completion recorded for you.

04

Home care details

Filter condition tracking, light bulbs, batteries, package retrieval, plant water checks — practical home-care details that help preserve comfort and system life.

What we do not do. We do not perform licensed plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, mold remediation, construction, or pool-equipment repair. When that work is required, we help coordinate owner-approved vendors, with scope and charges reviewed before work is scheduled.
Service plans

Three levels of stewardship.

Choose a calm monthly cadence, then add one-off help only when the home needs it. The service is designed for discretion, margin, and trust, not constant visits.

Available by request

One-off services when the home needs extra attention.

Your monthly plan covers the scheduled stewardship cadence. Add-ons are quoted in advance and accepted only when the scope, timing, and access instructions are clear.

Storm & seasonal readiness

Storm-prep checks, post-storm condition reports, hurricane-season readiness reviews, and extended-absence setup.

Arrival & departure prep

Temperature, lights, packages, basic home reset, pre-return check, and departure walk-throughs after the home is empty.

Systems & supplies

AC filter stewardship, replacement planning, light bulbs, batteries, basic water-quality screening, leak-sensor checks, and smart-home status checks where owner access is provided.

Vendor coordination

Meet approved vendors, document access, collect estimates, confirm lock-up, and summarize visible completion status so you have a clear record when work happens at the home.

Outside work and materials are reviewed separately. Plan fees cover stewardship time: observation, documentation, coordination, and practical home-care support. Replacement filters, light bulbs, batteries, vendor appointments, emergency response, and licensed trade work are handled only with clear scope and owner approval.
Add-ons are approved before work begins. Materials, vendor appointments, emergency response, and extra on-site requests are separate from the monthly plan. We keep the core plan cadence intentionally limited so your home is cared for without unnecessary traffic.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

If your question is not here, ask in the form below. A member of the team will reply personally within one business day.

Are you licensed to perform repairs?

No, and that is intentional. My Home Stewards is a home watch and stewardship service. We observe, document, coordinate, and provide practical home-care support within our service scope. For plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, mold, construction, or pool-equipment work, we coordinate owner-approved licensed vendors and document visible completion status.

How are vendor charges handled?

With your approval first. We help obtain quotes or scheduling details, coordinate approved work, meet the vendor at your home when arranged, and provide a photo-stamped visit report. Any outside work, materials, or special requests are reviewed with you before they move forward.

Do all plans include filter and water screening?

Yes. Every plan includes at least quarterly AC filter condition checks, and all tiers include a basic consumer-grade water quality screen for indicators such as pH and PPM where applicable. Premier includes monthly filter stewardship, with replacements handled during scheduled visits when homeowner-supplied filters are available or as an approved add-on when timing requires it.

Is My Home Stewards insured and bonded?

Coverage documentation is provided before service begins. We only market active insurance or bond status after coverage is bound and documentation is available.

How is my home accessed?

By a method you choose: a coded lockbox, a smart-lock guest code, or a key controlled by a tracked sign-out log. Every visit is logged with timestamp and photos.

What happens during a hurricane or storm?

Pre-storm advisories include shutter checks, patio-furniture securing, and water-line shut-offs. Post-storm, we conduct a priority walk-through and report on any damage so you can make insurance and repair decisions quickly.

Can I pause or cancel?

Yes. Service may be paused or cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. Any unused service credit, vendor cost, or material cost is handled according to the service agreement.

Prefer to talk through the details?
